I have replace the keyboard with a Dell smartcard reader keyboard in optiplex 990 model. I follow the instructions to load the drivers for Windows 7. When I insert the ID card and try to switch user to get login form for the card reader it never replacethe conventional login form.I ran the diagnostic tool (SmartDiagv2.3) tha comes with the CD, and it passes the test. Throught the Windows Device Manager I see I have two drivers installwhich are the latest for this Windows 7c:windowssystem32driversGKUPRO2.SYS version Gemalto 4.0.8.5c:windowssystem32driversscfilter.sys version Microsoft 6.1.7600.I also see Microsoft Smart Card Resource Manager is auto and running.The setup infromation Database says oem47.inf and smartcard.inf. We have another machine that have exactly the properties mention above except it also contains the files oem48.inf and eom49.inf.
